Aged 55 years and older
Seniors are professionally trained to strut on the runway and are featured in annual
multi-city fashion entertainment show tours.
Just When You Thought It Was Safe...
Another TUT Production is trendsetting senior modeling.
Since 2006, Another TUT Production has focused exclusively on senior fashion entertainment shows to showcase other abilities and talents of the 55 and older age group. Seniors are refusing to be 'nicely' tucked away and forgotten about. With the perfect blend of modeling, theatre, and entertainment, Seniors On The Runway is fashion theatre at its best! Seniors are confidently showing that being fashionable has no age limit. Seniors are making more time for themselves, diversifying their social activities, improving their well-being, enhancing their lives in their Silver and Golden Age and are looking fabulous doing it.
How can seniors become a part of the movement? We've made the process simple for seniors. Throughout the year, Another TUT Production host casting calls and auditions in various cities, select modern day seniors from the auditions, provide professional modeling training (at no cost to the senior), rehearse for the show, and then shut the city down with surprise pop up fashion shows and the show itself. Audiences are pleasantly surprised by the strut and performances of the seniors and are even in disbelief of the ages when announced in the show's finale.
Why we do it? To value the legacy of all seniors; to honor, to acknowledge, and to celebrate seniors' contribution to society. We do it to glamourize aging and show that life is worth living.
Some of the senior models are retired, but not tired; they may be old, but they are not cold; they all have a passion for fashion; are alive and kickin'; AND they are struttin' on the RUNWAY! Showing just how beautiful it is to age.
Are you ready?
Seniors On The Runway strut in fashions from popular consignment shops, fashion boutiques, and department stores.
Famed Atlanta and nationally known Fashion Designer Bramer Stevens of Bramer Couture supports Seniors On The Runway by lending blessed hands to design 'must see', 'jaw dropping' fashions for senior models.
Senior models are selected to be a part of Another TUT Production's lip synching and dance groups The Sophisticated Ladies, The Gents, or Boys in the Band and perform hit songs like the 'Best of my Love' by the Emotions or Cheryl Lynn's 'To Be Real'.
In between scenes, audiences are entertained and incorporated in the entertainment part of the show.
Since 2014, Seniors On the Runway have toured annually in various cities (Albany, Atlanta, Augusta, Jacksonville, & Savannah). In locations where there is a show, senior citizens of that city have an opportunity to audition to be casted as one of the models.
Local senior models are professionally trained and they join Atlanta senior models' strut on the runway. Be on the lookout for a show tour in your city.
